Headlines are an extremely important part of content creation. They are the ones that attract the attention of the audiences so that they consume the content that is provided to them. Each piece of content has a particular objective as part of the marketing strategy, if the headline is not good enough get the attention of the target audience, it will not be able to attract them and the company can lose them forever. There is just want chance to create a good impression and to be in front of the audience. If it is not consistent with the content offered, the audience will be disappointed and this will affect the image of the brand.

It is a very sensitive topic; headlines sell products and services. However, it is an art to craft headlines. In the course content, there is a method that suggest writing 100 headlines, it calls the Rule of Third Third. The first third will be the most commons, the second third are more creative, but the last third offer something unique and innovative headlines.

It takes time and practice to be an expert in the headlines’ creation, but it is worth it. Better headlines are equal to better profits.

This is the headline that I clicked during my time scrolling on Twitter. It made me feel curious about the news:

Facebook – owner Meta to cut 10,000 staff

Every morning I just go to Twitter to find what is new, I just scroll through the app. This time the tweet kept my attention, the news is not good for the tech industry. I felt concerned about the economy. Things does not look good. I wanted to know more about the headline.

The headline is short, direct, and clear. I knew that it was a new story that was going to be in the headlines that day, I wanted to know what the layoffs would be like. I can talk about the news if it is needed. I also felt sad for those affected, and after seeing how Elon Musk has fired people from Twitter, I wanted to know how Mark Zuckerberg was going to do. The headline in this case did not offer a promise or benefit, but it did surprise me and feeds my concern about the possibility of an economic recession. I think I was more moved by curiosity, fear, and the possibility of facing a layoff.
